Alex Nicholson is the HR and Legal Director at MediaWorks, and part of the executive leadership team. Alex has 20 years’ experience in the law, and just two years of experience in HR. Prior to MediaWorks, Alex worked in-house in the UK for twelve years (media and insurance companies), and two years in private practice in NZ.

Alex has a range of leadership and governance experience as well as legal (including corporate, commercial and media law) and a developing understanding of the HR/people and culture space.

Alex has a daughter (Luna, 9 years old), a dog (Tonks, 1 year old), is a keen kayak fishing person and has just started taking art classes again.
